Weaving Nature's Beauty into Textile and Fashion
Lisa Nishi's creative journey began with a Fine Art degree from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a deep dive into Advanced Textile Design at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, and Fashion Design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Her artistic prowess has graced the pages of Vogue Magazine and adorned the cover of Neiman Marcus' esteemed publication, 'The Book'. With her work showcased and cherished in New York, London, and Paris, Nishi's designs are currently on display at The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, Halifax, and The Museum of Natural History, Manhattan.
Rooted in nature, Nishi's designs draw inspiration from the natural world, and Cape Breton Island, in particular, serves as a boundless wellspring of creativity for her.
